What's Going on Outside...

This is your camp, the only thing we require is that you uphold LDS Standards.  You can choose to stay busy or to relax the entire time.  Our family will have a flag raising with the Pledge of Allegiance every morning and a campfire with smores every night.
You are welcome to join us, but you sure do not have to.
Here's a list of activities that we will provide equipment for:

Campfires:
There are only two allowed campfire pits.  One at the lake and one by the large pavilion.  We will have a campfire each night and provide ingredients for smores!

Fishing:  Children ages 12 and under do not have to have licenses for fishing.  We will have our fishing equipment in a two bunk cabin #39 which is closest to the lake.  You are welcome to use the equipment we have, but it is not very professional.  (Do you have worms?)

Boating:  If you own a boat or canoe, you are welcome to use it at our boating area.  The boats cannot have motors.  You must have life jackets.

Volleyball:  There is a sand volleyball court and we will furnish the volleyball.

Basketball:  There are outdoor basketball courts outside of our private camping area, but we will provide a portable basketball goal in our area and also basketballs.

Football:  We have the equipment and the football for flag football.

Softball:  We have enough softball equipment for two teams with plenty of bats, balls, and gloves.  We'll bring the bases for the field at our campground.

We will also furnish:  Frisbees, Soccer Ball, Kickball, Whistles, Stopwatch, Croquet, Horseshoes, and Water Toys!

Of course, whatever we own, we will gladly loan.
Just sign out the equipment for yourself or for a group you gather.

All the activities listed above are available in our campground.  You may want to bring bicycles for your family.  Those 16 and younger must wear helmets.  Don't forget that Montgomery Bell State Park is beautiful and offers additional activities for you to enjoy (some at a fee)...I know of golfing, swimming, playing in creeks, boat rental, hiking, etc.  Check out their site:       www.tn.gov/environment/parks/MontgomeryBell
