What's Going on Inside...
This is your camp, the only thing we require is that you uphold LDS Standards. You can choose to stay busy or to relax the entire time. Our family will have a flag raising with the Pledge of Allegiance every morning and a campfire with smores every night. You are welcome to join us, but you sure do not have to. Here's a list of indoor activities that we will provide equipment for:
Ping Pong: We will provide a table with paddles and balls...have you every played "Family Ping Pong?"
Card Games: We will provide various card games>yes UNO. I am hoping enough will be interested in holding a Rook Tournament!
Board Games: We will bring LOTS of board games!
Puppets: We will bring a tiny puppet stand with a few puppets.
Lite Brite: We have a few sets...should we have a guessing game as to how many pegs will be lost?
Karaoke: We might have to vote where this will be used...maybe the huge pavilion?
Missionary Messages: Of course I will provide papers and pens for you to write our missionaries. I have a daughter serving right now and hopefully another son will be out as well. I also have two nephews that will be serving and our ward has Steven Van Nevel. You are welcome to bring missionary names/pictures if you would like to be in charge of sending the messages to them.
Soldier Salutes: Let's not forget our soldiers that are deployed. My son does not deploy until October, but if you would take charge of sending the "salutes", you are welcome to bring names/pictures.
Play Guns & Swords: We have oodles of play guns & swords to share.
